BCTV Debuts New
Production Equipment
For Taping of Televised Town Meetings
(Branford, CT)  There's a noticeable improvement in the technical quality of televised Town of Branford meetings held at Canoe Brook Center.  That's due to a grant from the State of Connecticut that enabled BCTV to purchase a new switcher, robotic cameras and other equipment for use in taping of Town meetings.  Improved video quality is the result of two new, wall-mounted robotic cameras, which provide a "two-camera" production of the meetings.  Additionally, the new Tricaster switcher has helped improve the quality and contributed to enabling meetings to be uploaded for viewing to the Town website the morning after the meeting.  Meetings can be viewed online by CLICKING HERE or by watching BCTV Government TV Cable 20 on Comcast or 99 on AT&T U-Verse.
