BCTV, Branford Community Television, serves the scenic shoreline town of Branford, Connecticut. BCTV is a private non-profit enterprise, organized under state and federal communication regulations.
We provide or oversee local public access, governmental and educational programming on three channels for cable television subscribers in our community of 28,000 residents. BCTV is available to all Comcast subscribers in Branford. Additionally, in October, 2008, BCTV was added to the AT&T U-Verse lineup and became available to all Frontier AT&T U-Verse subscribers throughout Connecticut. It is the intention of BCTV to provide independent residents of Branford, who use BCTV's equipment and studio facilities for educating, entertaining, and conveying information and opinions for the residents of Branford, with access to non-commercial television programs, production and supporting services.

BCTV Cable 18 is truly the voice of the community, enabling citizens to speak their mind, promote their cause or showcase their talents. BCTV provides the training and equipment, you provide the talent! BCTV Cable 18 broadcasts from the main BCTV studio at 40 Kirkham Street, and is available to all Branford subscribers of Comcast. BCTV Cable 19 is the Educational Access channel for Branford, Connecticut. BCTV Cable 19 is the source for educational programming for Branford, including programming originating from the Branford Public School system. BCTV Cable 19 is an educational access channel televising school plays, musicals, talk shows, sporting events, club meetings, seminars etc. It is operated under the direction of Santha Martin and the staff at Walsh Middle School, in conjunction with BCTV, Branford Community Television, Inc., the officially recognized P.E.G. access provider for Branford, Connecticut.
BCTV staff provides technical assistance and consultation to assist with program production and free loan of video equipment to interested parties. BCTV Cable 19 broadcasts from the Walsh Intermediate School on Damascus Road in Branford, and is available to all Branford subscribers of Comcast. BCTV Cable 20 keep citizens up-to-date and informed by televising meetings of the Board of Selectmen, and the Board of Finance, along with Branford Representative Town Meetings, and meetings of the Branford Board of Police Commissioners and Board of Fire Commissioners.
