BCTV Cable 18 is the Public Access channel for Branford, Connecticut. BCTV Cable 18 is truly the voice of the community, enabling citizens to speak their mind, promote their cause or showcase their talents. BCTV provides the training and equipment, you provide the talent! BCTV Cable 18 broadcasts from the main BCTV studio at 40 Kirkham Street, and is available to all Branford subscribers of Comcast. In October, 2008, BCTV Cable 18 was added to the AT&T U-Verse lineup and is now available to all Frontier TV powered by AT&T U-Verse subscribers throughout Connecticut. BCTV Cable 18 is operated by Branford Community Television, Inc., the officially recognized P.E.G. access provider for the Town of Branford, Connecticut.
BCTV offers free training to interested citizens to produce their ideas and interests as programs for cable casting. BCTV combines free traditional training techniques using 21st century technology, and free loans of equipment to amateur producers wishing to feature their interests, hobbies or activities.
